Fall Registration Update

We have openings on Divisions GU16, GU10 and BU6, all others are full but we do have a waiting list. If you have a player who wants to register or be added to the wait list, email the registrar here.

Goalkeeper Clinics

This will be a 4-part Clinic, open to U10 through U16. All clinics will be held at Arroyo Seco Junior High School. All dates are on Mondays, August 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Here’s the flyer. Also see “The Art of Goalkeeping” pdf here.

Coaching Certification

Coaches must have a current volunteer form on file. Coaches will not receive their rosters until they have completed a volunteer form. Coaches must be Safe Haven certified and they will not receive their team’s uniforms until they have completed the AYSO Safe Haven course. Coaches must be age specific certified by the specified date (to be posted here in the future, as well as on the Section 10 website).

> Teams without a certified coach will not be permitted to participate in Region, Area, or Section playoffs.

No Goalkeepers on U8 Division

Question: “Why does AYSO recommend no goalkeepers in U-8? Is this really soccer?"
Answer: Soccer games without goalkeepers provide a better experience for 5, 6 and 7-year-olds for several reasons, which is why not only AYSO but also U.S. Soccer, the national governing body of soccer in America, discourages the use of goalkeepers at the U-8 level and below.It's the right way to teach soccer for these young ages.

First of all, the goalkeeper is denied a chance to run around and chase the ball. The boy or girl who must guard the goal is being prevented from doing what he or she signed up for - play soccer!

Refund Policy

Refunds are available according to the following schedule:
Before July 10: Full refund.
July 11 - August 30: A $50 processing fee will be charged per player.
After September 1t: No refund will be issued.
